Nuestras aulas para niños pequeños brindan un entorno enriquecedor y seguro para la exploración de los estudiantes. Los maestros se enfocan en fomentar habilidades de comunicación, resolución de problemas, socialización, y manejo del apego. También propician el desarrollo de habilidades motoras gruesas y finas (como empujar y halar, saltar, y agarre de pinza entre otros) y conocimientos lógicos matemáticos (como clasificar objetos por color, tamaño, y forma.) Nuestro plan de estudios único refuerza estos desarrollos apropiados para la edad a través de canciones, juegos, cuentos y actividades experienciales. Comenzamos a introducir conceptos de autorregulación.
Cada dos años, hacemos una evaluación formal basada en puntos de referencia apropiados para la edad con el fin de evaluar el crecimiento y desarrollo de cada niño.
A los 4 años, se trabaja la lectoescritura de manera más profunda haciendo evidente para el niño que al juntar letras/sonidos se forman palabras y posteriormente estructuras más complejas del lenguaje.
En las clases de pre kindergarten del niño, nuestros maestros trabajan en estrecha colaboración con cada uno de nuestros estudiantes para perfeccionar todas las habilidades que necesitarán para el kindergarten.
